Generation Studios is your on-line access to the art and ideas of Ron Tourangeau. Ron holds a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the University of Waterloo, a Master of Divinity from the University of St. Michael’s College, Toronto School of Theology and a PhD (Religion and the Arts) from the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley. His work can be found in cities across Canada and the United States.

As a theologian and an artist, Ron continues to explore those aspects of visual art which enable it to touch and reveal the most important parts of life and faith.

Our name is inspired by the words of Psalm 145:

    One generation shall laud thy works to another,
    and shall declare thy mighty acts.
    (Ps 145:4)

Our generation is challenged to continue the tradition of praising the wonders of God and of promoting and providing responsible stewardship in God's creation. We believe that the visual image has an important role to play in meeting this challenge. Our goal is to provide a series of high-quality prints and related items which speak to this role.

Most of the images in our gallery are accompanied by descriptive passages intended to offer insight into the intent of the image and to act as a springboard for your own reflection. Whether you make a purchase or just use the site as a place for reflection and meditation, we hope you will visit often. We'll be adding new images as they are created.
